I texted her "Hey Butthead," merely looking for a friend or someone to talk to. Little did I know, that this text would lead to the rest of my life, and us rarely separating. - A

If you have known me for long, you know my love for mac and cheese. I can, have and will continue to eat mac and cheese for lunch and dinner in the same day for many days in a row. - This is important.

One day Aaron showed me the movie Role Models. This is one of his favorite movies, and I had gotten into it. I was also hangry... As I am known to be.

Aaron, after noticing the signs of hanger, went in the kitchen and made me mac and cheese, a simple thing that would make my life better.

This Man, then brought me the mac and cheese once it was done. In that moment I knew I loved him, and would marry him one day. In fact, I told him so... Even though we had only been dating a month.

I have; of course, continued to tell him I'm going to marry him one day... Leading to neither of us proposing, but a wedding date set.

About a year in, I was transitioning jobs and working out a better job. She supported me emotionally and mentally (Like, she almost knew exactly what I needed) It just clicked in my mind that I'd love this to be forever. I didn't have to wait too long.

One day I went to spend time at Aaron's and asked Grandma if there was anything I could do for her before I left. She said "Take the Cat."

So I did.

Then Penguin realized that Aaron will sit still and hold him, for hours if necessary. Which is EXACTLY how Penguin wants loved.

I now joke (I kind of mean it) that Penguin is Aaron's cat now. - J

I first met Penguin at grandma's house. I came home one night after getting a text about bringing him over. As soon as I got in the door, he wanted attention. Not even an hour later, he's laying on my tummy and purring. We still have regularly scheduled tummy snuggles. - A

We realized we were looking for a very specific cat.

1. I wanted to be able to hold him.

2. He had to let Penguin take the lead.

3. We love to snuggle.

We talked to the APL and they said that sounded like a cat named Winchester. We decided to meet him and were smitten at 1st sight.

We have since taken to calling him Chester, easier for when he is getting into trouble. He was the perfect addition and is the least coordinated of the house. Considering I live here, that's a feat. - J

We had talked about getting another cat after a while. Jcee wanted a cat she could scoop and love on with no question (or claws). We went to the APL that Saturday, talked to a few people and were directed to talk to a nice lady that was fostering cats. We arranged a meet for the next day and at first sight we knew. - A
